The exhibition of drawings, graphics and tapestries of the world-renowned fashion designer and artist Ottavio Missoni (born in 1921 in Dubrovnik) opens on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at 8.30 pm. in the Gallery Dulčić Masle Pulitika. It contains abundant information about the entire life and oeuvre of this extremely interesting personality; designer, artist, top athlete and businessman at the same time.
Dubrovnik exhibition will take place after the premiere in Maribor, European Culture Capital 2012 and after the setup in Koper and Pula. The exhibition curator is Luca Missoni while Mario Steffe is his right-hand man. The exhibition is organized by the Italian Union (Unione Italiana) in collaboration with Piran Coastal Galleries, National University of Trieste, the Foundation Ottavio and Rosita Missoni, Italian Centre Carlo Combi from Koper, Italian Community Santorio Santorio from Koper and Art Gallery Dubrovnik.
The event will be held under the sponsorship of the Italian Embassy in Zagreb, the City of Zagreb and Istria County.
It runs through September 9, 2012.
