City of Dubrovnik will be the host of exclusive Noir nights that will be held from 17. till 19. of August as a part of Dubrovnik summer games in palace Sponza and Cinema under the stars Jadran in Old town.
Dubrovnik Noir nights will be opened with an exibition of photographs titled ‘Double identity’ by the aclaimed Croatian photographer and contemporary artist Saša Šekoranja in the Sponza palace. The exibition is a remake of famous scenes from noir classics with famous actors and actresses from the region – Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Srbija in roles of unforgetable noir charachters. In addition to the exibition Noir nights will host premier film screening of the neo-noir film ‘The women in fifth’ (2011) and screenings of two noir classics ‘The postman always rings twice’ (1946) and ‘Double indemnity’ (1944). The screenings will be set in the mystic atmosphere of the Old town in the cinema under the stars Jadran.
Entrance to all the Noir nights happenings are free of charge.
